'Temporal Spaces', Art Cube Artist's Studios, 2022
As we move through temporary spaces, we encounter moments of discomfort and uncertainty that lead us to action. The act of marking a doorpost tells us of the urge to express this uncertainty, and hang an amulet for protection in the moment of fear and passage. In this series, ‘Mezuzah’, I search for new expressions of passing through a transitional space – the anxious motions of the body passing through. Are we protected in this space?
